The solid does lather well, is pleasantly scented and leaves the skin feeling softer. Best results (I have found) come from normal shaving in the shower as your legs (or wherever you shave) need to be wet in order for the solid to lather.

Shaving with the intuition is, as the advertising and packaging suggests, very easy. Replacement solids can be bought separately. Two different types of solid exist - normal and sensitive skin varieties. The Sword pack includes the plastic razor handle, usually two of the solids (including the Wilkinson triple blade razorblades), a shower handle and travel cap. It has an innovative, ergonomic design with the main difference being that it combines the job of shaving gel and razor simultaneously, with the 'skin conditioning solid' that surrounds the blade.
